Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the first time.

I apologize for my absence! Things are changing here and changing fast. I really feel the tug and pull to help provide for my family, but I also know that my place is in our home! Financially, we need the help. I know that God gifted me with my talents and passions for a reason and I plan to use them!

So, without further ado, let me introduce my current love.

Isn’t it pretty? I love the details and the buttery smooth sheen! The color is COUNTRY GREY. In my opinion, it is perfect for bedrooms, because it is warm, but still neutral. This piece would be great for a console table, changing table, or farmhouse, shabby, chic, glam TV stand. Don’t you think?

Did I mention, this was my first attempt at painting with ASCP and her dark wax? While expensive,I loved the entire process from the lack of prep to the final result. I am a convert. Is it cliché? Perhaps, but Annie Sloan has truly developed a wonderful product. Everyone brings a touch of themselves to each piece.

And oh my, is it perfect for busy mommies who need to be able to paint on the go. And as a homeschooling mama to soon-to-be three boys, ages three and under, I believe I qualify! 🙂

Next, I hope to try Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint! It looks so yummy too!

I have been so inspired by ASCP (Annie Sloan Chalk Paint). It has allowed me the freedom to express myself, without trying to fit within the conforms of anyone else’s work. We tend to do that, don’t we?

Well anyways, I will insert more pictures of this table, because I just can’t help myself. It’s just cute.

  1. It’s beautiful! I’m also a convert to ASCP and just recently tried MMSMP. I LOVED it! And one other thing we have in common, I’m starting to homeschool my kids for the first time this year. Yikes! Your buffet looks perfect!

    • Danielle,

The prospect of homeschooling is VERY scary, but so, so exciting as well! Good Luck to you all! And thank you for the wonderful comment on the buffet! I have been so unsure about posting any of my work online, so it is refreshing to hear a positive comment!

AND OH MY THAT BUFFET YOU JUST PAINTED IN TRICYCLE RED IS TO DIE FOR!!!!
